JOEY SCOUTS

JoeyBadge

For girls and boys aged 6 to 7 years.

The Joey Mob meets on Monday evening from 5.30pm to 6.30pm.
 
Joeys don’t have an official uniform, but wear a special
 screen printed T-shirt with a Joey Scout motif.

CUB SCOUTS

CubBadge

For boys and girls aged 8 to11 years.

When you join a Cub Scout Pack, you will wear a uniform
 with a special scarf that is worn only by members of Beaumont Scout Group.

 There are lots of badges that you can earn and proudly wear on your shirt.

We have two Cub Scout Packs at Beaumont -
the Warrawee Pack which meets on Mondays from 6.45 to 8.15pm,
 and the Kuburra Pack which meets on Tuesdays from 6.30 to 8pm.

The highest award for Cub Scouts is the Yellow Cord.
 You can wear this for one year when you go up to Scouts,
 or until you earn the Red Cord.
 You wear the Yellow Cord Badge until you leave Scouting.

SCOUTS

For girls and boys aged 10.5 to 14 years.

In the Scout Troop you will be part of a Patrol
 and learn to take a greater role in the decision making of the Troop.

In Scouts, there are many badges that scouts can earn,
 individually and as a Patrol.

The highest award in the Scout section,
 until recently, has been the Adventurer Award,
 which has now been superceded by the Scout Medallion.

At Beaumont, the Scout Troop
meets on Thursday from 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm.


VENTURER SCOUTS

For young men and women aged 14 to 17.

In the Unit the Venturers run their own programme through the Unit Council.

Many Venturers become Youth Helpers with the Joey and Cub Scout Sections.

Rowallan Venturer Unit meets at
 the Beaumont Scout Hall on Friday nights from 7.30 - 10 pm.

The highest award in the Venturer section is the Queen’s Scout Award.

ROVERS

For women and men aged 18 to 25 years.

Rovers plan and run their own activities,
 and some Rovers take on a leadership role with the younger sections of Scouting.

Aesir Rover Crew meets holds business meetings at Beaumont Scout Hall,
but most of their activities involve getting outside the hall to go
hiking, rafting, skiing, driving, diving, paddling, riding and more..
