"BACK TO BEAUMONT" FIELD DAY
This will be held on Sunday September 18th at Tusmore Park Oval,
adjacent to the old Linden Park Scout Hall.
All former and current members, leaders and parents are invited
to join us between 2 and 5pm to celebrate the Group's 50th Birthday.
Further details will be posted here closer to the event.
FEES - 2005
Fee notices will be sent out early in the terms.
Please place cash or cheque (payable to ‘1st Beaumont Scout Group’)
in the fee envelope, and hand to your child’s leader, or post
cheque to:

UNIFORMS
A new Uniform for members
of the Scout Movement is being phased in over the next few years.
This does not mean that you need to rush out and buy the new items.
Just replace the old with the new when it is outgrown.
Which brings me to the subject of Second Hand Uniforms
.
If you have items of uniform which your child has outgrown, consider
donating them to the Scout Group. As I’m sure you know, a complete
new uniform is quite costly, and families new to the Group appreciate
being able to buy some items at a reduced price. Just bring them
in to your child’s leader, and we will take it from there.
You may even find something you need in our Used Clothing Store.
SCOUT RAFFLE
Make sure you buy a ticket (or several) from us this
year. We will have plenty of tickets to sell, and will need help
from all families to ensure that we sell them all early to earn the bonus
payment.
LEADERS
New Leaders are always needed in each Section,
to ease the burden on our current Leaders, and to replace those that
retire. Most of our Leaders come from among the ranks of Parents,
and it is an excellent way to spend some quality time with your child,
and join in the fun and learning with them.

The Group will provide a uniform and full training - all we need
is your time and enthusiasm!
